SUMMARY:Knowledge Building Event - "Digital Education Leadership: Leading Today For Tomorrow's Unscripted World"
DESCRIPTION:Description \n\n\n\nThe aim of this event is to address the challenges and opportunities confronting educational leaders in the face of an increasingly unscripted world. The session will discuss some of the global megatrends on the horizon and explore some of the implications for leaders and educational institutions.  The underlying assumption is that leadership and investment in talent and leadership development throughout institutions have never been more important to steer a path through such turbulent and rapidly changing times.  But this assumption raises the question of what type of educational leadership is required today to proactively envision\, transform institutions\, and implement future-focused teaching and learning strategies for tomorrow’s world. The discussion will draw on key lessons from the leadership literature\, focusing on the importance of a holistic approach to placing digital education in the wider ecosystem in which institutions operate.  Several leaders will share critical insights with firsthand knowledge on this topic and experiences of the messy and complex nature of educational leadership. The discussion will culminate with key priorities and leader actions that institutions need to consider in their own context to build a transformative culture of leadership to help achieve the goal of a high-performing digital education ecosystem.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEuropean Digital Education Hub\n\n\n\nThe European Digital Education Hub (EDEH) is an initiative of the European Commission\, funded by the Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027) and operated by a consortium of eleven organisations\, under a service contract with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). \n\n\n\nEDEN Digital Learning Europe Knowledge Building team is actively contributing to this Hub. \n\n\n\nMonthly innovative events are organised to discover and debate which are the current and future challenges of the digital transformation of education. \n\n\n\n\nOfficial Agenda\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\n\nModerator\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nMark Brown\, EDEN Digital Learning Europe Vice President of Strategy and Communication\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMark Brown is a Vice-President and Senior Fellow of EDEN Digital Learning Europe.
