EDEN Appoints Antonella Poce as Chair of PhD Community

The EDEN Management Board (EDEN MB) recognises the high value of PhD researchers in advancing digital education and learning with technologies and is committed to further strengthening the PhD research community within EDEN.

In support of this goal, EDEN is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Antonella Poce, EDEN MB member and Full Professor at the University of Roma Tor Vergata, as Chair of EDEN PhD Community.

Professor Poce is an internationally recognised scholar in the fields of digital education, technology-enhanced learning, and museum and heritage education. She has extensive experience in supervising doctoral research, leading European research projects, and publishing widely in high-impact international journals. Her work bridges academic research, educational innovation, and policy-oriented practice, with a strong focus on inclusive, evidence-based digital learning.

In her new role, Professor Poce will work to enhance networking, research quality, and visibility of PhD researchers within EDEN, fostering collaboration across institutions and supporting the next generation of researchers in digital education.
