Digital skills and training practices in disruptive industries: a European perspective

Description
A total of 63 participants were interviewed from Tourism (Italy and Switzerland), Textile (Italy and Switzerland), Automotive (Germany), Building (Switzerland) and Bioeconomy (Finland) sectors. The speakers will present the general results of this international study, discussing differences and similarities among sectors, countries and roles (employer, employee and adult educators). Results suggest that the most mentioned tools for learning at work were for communication, followed by productivity and video tools, whereas learning content management systems and innovative applications were less recognised.
After the presentation of the general results, each speaker will discuss some qualitative country-based considerations. Discussion with participants will be focused on practical implications for HR managers, learning specialists and VET schools in disruptive industries.

Francesca Amenduni is a member of the Steering Committee of the EDEN Network of Academic and Professionals. She is Senior Researcher and Project Manager at SFUVET (Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training). She is a PhD candidate in Experimental Pedagogy with a research on semi-automated assessment of Critical Thinking in essays and open-ended answers (AES) carried out under the supervision of Professor Antonella Poce (Roma TRE University).
