We are pleased to announce that, following the EDEN General Meeting of April 21, 2026, Janika Leoste has been elected as a new Member of the EDEN Management Board.

Janika Leoste is Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence Didactics at Tallinn University and Assistant Professor at Tallinn University of Technology. Her work spans digital education, teacher development, responsible AI, educational robotics, and cross-sector knowledge transfer. She operates at the intersection of research, practice, and policy, combining academic leadership with project development, community building, and international collaboration. At national level, she serves on the Estonian Education and Youth Board’s Digital Competence Task Force, advancing DigCompEdu implementation, including AI competences.

We warmly welcome Janika to the EDEN Management Board and look forward to her contribution to advancing digital education in Europe.
