Submit Your Paper Until March 20 2024! Call For Papers – EURODL – Special Issue: “The Integration of Generative AI (GenAI) in Teaching and Learning”

European Journal of Open, Distance and E-Learning, EURODL, launches a new Call For Papers for a Special Issue on “The Integration of Generative AI (GenAI) in Teaching and Learning”. The deadline to submit full paper is 20 March 2024.

Aims and Objectives

The breakthrough of Generative Artificial Intelligence platforms (Generative AI – GenAI) such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Bard and others are leading to far-reaching educational changes in Open, Distance, and E-Learning (ODL). These platforms pose unprecedented challenges to teaching and learning methods as we know them. The special issue of EURODL on “The Integration of Generative AI (GenAI) in Teaching and Learning” aims to explore the opportunities and challenges of implementing GenAI in teaching and learning through different lenses of analysis: pedagogical, technological, and organizational. We seek research contributions focusing on the K-12 and higher education levels and the training context. We would like to include perspectives from multiple stakeholders, such as students, faculty members, administrators, policymakers, and national and international educational agencies and institutions. We encourage contributions of both theoretical and empirical nature, encompassing qualitative and quantitative research. Interdisciplinarity is highly encouraged.
