Description

The reference frame is the CHILD C.A. project aimed to improve children’s care in Central Asia (CA) countries through a modern and innovative postgraduate training of the specialists devoted to their care.
The goal of the present webinar is to introduce a course based on five meetings, this included, helping the participating Higher Education Institutions (HEI) of the Central Asia to build an interconnected, multidirectional environment, aimed to promote the interaction between students and teacher, also from distant resources, thus helping to update educational methodologies. Accordingly, four speakers will present the core topics of the course.

Her work is focused on monitoring and fostering the e-learning implementation in higher education institutions in Croatia and providing support and advice to institutions, teachers and students in implementation of new technologies in the learning and teaching process.  She was appointed Croatian representative in ET2020 Working group on Digital Skills and Technologies (2016-2018) and in ET2020 Working group on Digital Education: learning, teaching and Assessment (2018-2020). She obtained a master’s degree in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh, UK in 2014 and doctoral degree in Information and Communication Technologies at the University of Zagreb in 2020.

Elena Caldirola

Director of the eLearning Center of the University Pavia, Italy

Director of the eLearning Center of the University of Pavia since 2010. She has a master degree in Political Science and a Postgraduate Specialisation in eLearning Management and Digital Communication. Skilled in eLearning environments, MOOCs, Learning Spaces, Blended Learning, Digital Corporate Training, and online learning. Since 2009 she takes part in the eLearning Task Force of the Coimbra Group. From 2013 until 2015 she was Chair of the CG eLearning Task Force and from 2016 till now she is member of the CG Education Innovation group. Since 2012 she is member of the Scientific Board of the Italian eLearning Society and since 2018 she takes part in the Executive Board of EDEN (European Distance and eLearning Network).


Stefano Govoni
University of Pavia, professor emeritus of Pharmacology, former rector’s delegate for teaching and learning activities

Stefano Govoni guided the initial steps in the creation of a group (now called MIDA group – innovative methodologies for teaching and learning) aimed to update and train the University of Pavia teachers.


Tommaso Minerva
Dept. of Surgery, Medicine and Dentistry, Coordinator and director of EDUNOVA, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, president of EduOpen and of the Italian eLearning Society

Tommaso Minerva has contributed to develop e-learning within the academic Italian institutions and to build a reference and standardized frame for e learning experiences within Academy.


Gian Battista Parigi
Pediatric surgeon, Department of Clinical and Surgical Sciences, Past President UEMS Section and Board of Pediatric Surgery,
President Committee for International Cooperation at University of Pavia

Gian Battista Parigi has a long experience on the training of health staff working in an international and multicultural setting requiring attention to the health needs and sustainability.


Jacek Urbaniec
Head of the  eLearning Centre of the Jagiellonian University, member of the Education Innovation Working Group of the Coimbra Group universities, co-founder of the Association for Academic E-learning in Poland, member of the Committee on Science Studies of the Polish Academy of Science
