LINKS-UP

Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013 – Key Activity 3 – ICT; Multilateral Projects

The project is exploring if Web 2.0 can empower resistant learners and excluded groups by offering them new opportunities for self-realization through collaborative learning, and by changing the nature of education itself. As personal learning environments are becoming more and more used in formal education, with no separation between school, home and work, the evidence base for their impact on the re-inclusion of excluded learners is fragmented. LINKS-UP will thus explore three main issues: is Learning 2.0 really supporting inclusive lifelong learning? can isolated experiments be mainstreamed? is Learning 2.0 fundamentally changing the educational landscape?
